Wymondham High Academy

Creative to inform and attract pupils to a High School and Sixth Form in Norfolk.

Wymondham High Academy is a state-funded co-educational academy school in Norfolk with a 'good' report from Ofsted in 2017. The school educates around 1,650 pupils aged 11 to 18 every year.

In a competitive market to attract new and outstanding Year 7 pupils, the principal, Mr J Rockey, commissioned a new brand identity and range of brochureware.

In early 2017, I started to create a fresh, new set of collateral to promote the school and its courses for their 2018 intake. As it progressed, a powerful and striking two colour approach unfolded, enabling the school and sixth form to create a distinctive, modern and cost effective identity that offered appeal to students and parents alike.

Incorporating positive stories from the staff and pupils, the simple and attractive design allowed them to discover facts about the school they didn’t know and with a brief to highlight their Arts and Culture offering, Year 5 students where also commissioned to create some of the final photography and content.

In a fiercely competitive market, it enabled the High School and Sixth Form to better promote themselves, enhance their reputation and boost intake numbers into Year 7.
