Circle Anglia Housing Association

Annual Review and Financial Accounts for a leading housing association.

In 2008 Circle Anglia was one of the UK’s leading providers of affordable housing, managing 46,000 homes in London, East Anglia, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Kent and Essex.

New creative for Circle Anglia’s Annual and Financial Reviews which included a further eight for their group associations: Old Ford Housing Association, South Anglia Housing, Circle 33 Housing Trust, Wherry Housing Association, Mole Valley Housing Association, Roddons Housing Association, Russet Homes and Invicta Telecare.

The group provided a range of affordable housing choices, including general needs, supported and sheltered housing, along with a range of responsive care, support and maintenance services. The group built approximately 1,500 new homes per year, including affordable homes for rent and shared ownership, together with market rent, private sale and commercial properties, in order to cross-subsidise and maximise their affordable housing programme.

Listening to Circle Anglia’s story it became clear that they existed to invest in people and the communities they live in.

They are driven by the difference they can make to people’s lives, creating thriving communities that everyone cares about and that provide a sense of place and purpose.

This felt like a good place to start, creating a theme around the idea of ‘moments that made the year’ for all of its eight Group Associations, Annual Review and set of Financial Accounts.

The result was a cohesive and well received set of accounts and reports, written and designed in a tone of voice that everyone could associate themselves too, with real images of residents in their communities.
